YM2 Yogurt Maker

In today's world we are more focused than ever on how natural our food is and what additives have been included. We are constantly searching for ways to keep our food natural, organic or simply “eat cleaner”. Many people are reverting from buying store-bought products and making them at home. This way, you know exactly what goes in to your food and it’s extra tasty and wholesome too!

Many people nowadays are equally as concerned with plastic waste. This hero of a machine can drastically reduce the amount of waste you produce. By making your own yogurt at home you can stop countless kilos of unnecessary plastic going to waste dumps. Plus, it makes the shopping bags a little lighter too!

Using the YM2 Yogurt Maker is so easy you can also get the kids involved. They can use their creativity in the kitchen and it’s a great way to teach healthy eating to a growing family.

YM2 Features:

Simple to Use

Designed with simplicity in mind, the control panel is easy to navigate. It allows you to select the desired cooking time, usually 8-12 hours (depending on how thick you want your yogurt to be) and then when it's finished the YM2 will automatically turn off. A great time to do this is overnight, so you will not notice the time pass at all!

Once you are finished cooking just remove the pots to cool down. Once cool, place them in a refrigerator for around 3 hours to properly chill and set further. Homemade yogurt can be kept for up to 4 days if kept in the jars or another air-tight container.

Making Your Own Yogurt

How much yogurt does your household consume weekly? If you have children chances are quite a lot, as it’s often a firm favourite in the lunchbox or at snack time! But, making them at home can be even healthier, as you can omit sugar and sweeteners and make them exactly how you like them. And, since our yogurt maker uses individual portion pots, its easy to make different flavours all at the same time to please the whole family.

Individual Pots

The Duronic Yogurt Maker comes with 8 individual ceramic pots with lids, each holding 125ml.

The lids ensure that while cooking is taking place they remain air-tight, keeping the bacteria working on the yogurt, preventing any spillages inside the machine and keeping the yogurt fresh when stored in the fridge.

These pots are great for measuring an individual portion and also look nice enough to be used to serve dessert when entertaining.

They are easy to clean and dishwasher safe.

Small Improvement, Big Impact

Wholesome, nutritious, natural, money saving, good for the environment, and most importantly super tasty. Homemade yogurt is a great way to improve your diet, and with this electronic yogurt maker it couldn’t be simpler.

Sweet Ideas

You can make a whole variety of different sweet yogurts by adding fresh fruit, nuts, seeds, dried fruit, cocoa, vanilla or even coffee flavouring. Try using natural sweeteners instead of sugar, like maple syrup, honey or nectar.

Savoury Delights

Savoury yogurt is a staple in many cultures. For example, in Eastern Europe a favourite is Kefir, in Morocco you'll find Raib and from India the popular Lassi. In Turkey you can try Ayran and of course, the most well known and loved, Greek yogurt found in Greece.

Why not have a go at making one of these savoury yogurts to accompany a meal?
