Meat-Loaded Omelettes
Bacon and Mushroom Omelette
Ingredients
- 3 rashers of streaky bacon, sliced into 1cm pieces
- 4 mushrooms, sliced
- 4 eggs, whisked together
Method
- Put the streaky bacon into the two wells of the omelette maker, and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the sliced mushrooms into each well and leave to cook for a further 2 minutes.
- Pour in the egg mixture into each well, ensuring that the mixture is divided equally.
- Close the omelette maker lid and leave to cook for 5-6 minutes.
- When the omelettes are cooked and look golden on top, they are ready. Gently remove them with a silicone or wooden spatula and serve.
Peperoni Pizza Omelette
Ingredients
- 8 slices of peperoni
- 4 eggs, whisked together
- 100g grated mozzarella
- 50g grated parmesan
Method
- Put the peperoni into the two wells of the omelette maker, and cook by itself for a few minutes.
- Pour in the egg mixture into each well, ensuring that the mixture is divided equally.
- Sprinkle the grated mozzarella on top of each egg mixture, followed by a sprinkle of parmesan.
- Close the omelette maker lid and leave to cook for 5-6 minutes.
- When the omelettes are cooked and look golden on top, they are ready. Gently remove them with a silicone or wooden spatula and serve.
Vegetarian Omelettes
Spinach and Ricotta Omelette
Ingredients
- Handful of spinach, chopped
- 50g ricotta cheese, broken into small pieces
- 4 eggs, whisked together
Method
- Add all of the ingredients into a jug and mix together well
- Pour in the egg mixture into each well, ensuring that the mixture is divided equally.
- Close the omelette maker lid and leave to cook for 5-6 minutes.
- When the omelettes are cooked and look golden on top, they are ready. Gently remove them with a silicone or wooden spatula and serve.
Tomato and Mozzarella Omelette
Ingredients
- 2 large tomatoes, diced
- 100g grated mozzarella
- 4 eggs, whisked together
Method
- Put the tomato into the two wells of the omelette maker, and cook by itself for a 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in the egg mixture into each well, ensuring that the mixture is divided equally.
- Sprinkle the grated mozzarella on top of each egg mixture.
- Close the omelette maker lid and leave to cook for 5-6 minutes.
- When the omelettes are cooked and look golden on top, they are ready. Gently remove them with a silicone or wooden spatula and serve.
